We are currently evaluating our community’s response by starting with second-run movies. Second-run films help us keep overhead low, grow our volunteer base, and keep prices affordable. New releases incur extra costs, require upgraded equipment, more volunteers, and will significantly raise our ticket and concession prices to cover the financial burden on the theater. Our goal is to eventually show new releases on multiple screens; at the same time, we must ensure the theater remains sustainable for years to come.
